FIRST & LAST LINE FLASH STORY CONTEST

Requirements:
- Story submission maximum 508 words
- Includes the provided first and last lines (you may add quotation marks, if necessary).
- Title not included in the word count
- Multiple submissions permitted, just pay separate entry fees for each
- Canadian authors (citizens at home or abroad, plus anyone living in Canada regardless of citizenship)
- To indicate italics put * around the selection. *like this*
- Keep it clean
Prizes:
- Share of total net entry fees received (i.e. total received, less Paypal fees) This is the ‘prize pot’
- First prize at least 50% prize pot.
- Additional prizes to share remainder of prize pot (2nd, 3rd, honorable mentions, as applicable)
- Publication on Lintusen Press website
- Consideration for future anthology
Entry fee:
- $2 per submission
- Payment via Paypal Goods and Services or Interact transfer to LintusenPress @ shaw.ca
- include your name and the title of your story in the payment notes section
Deadline:
- Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time

In the body of the message:
LEGAL NAME and “writing as” pseudonym if applicable
EMAIL ADDRESS
YOUR STORY include the title in ALL CAPS and then the story on a new line
